HEALTH AND SAFETY

The safety of employees, rail travellers, local residents and associated stakeholders is the South Improvement Alliance highest priority, and one that will not be compromised. The SIA has embraced the philosophy of ARTC and its alliance partners, and is firmly focused on managing construction and residual risks.

Safety will also be one of the team's highest priorities during construction, ensuring that all works are undertaken with particular attention to the safety of employees and those in the vicinity of construction works.

The SIA’s Health and Safety policy sets the framework to create a work environment that is conducive to high levels of safety performance and safe behaviours.
